The Export NZ Fishing Competition

Welcome to the 2024-2025 Season!

The Export NZ Fishing Competition is a measure-based, nationwide, online fishing competition where anglers can participate in sustainable fishing with the ability to catch New Zealand's main inshore species. This competition empowers you, the angler, to determine the fate of your catch, releasing the fish if you wish or taking it home to feed friends and family - it's your choice. Thanks to support from Export, Furuno, Shimano and YETI, anglers are in to win some magnificent prizes and trophies throughout the season.
